 KENNESAW, Ga.-The Kennesaw State men's tennis team collected a 4-0 win over Gardner-Webb on Sunday on the Betty Siegel Courts.
 
"I am really proud of the way we played today," Director of Tennis Eduardo Rincon said. " We the doubles lineups up today and were able to clinch the point with solid play from all three doubles lines. I thought we played well in singles."
 
The Owls took early control of the match winning the doubles point. Corey Smith/Lucas deTorres Curth took down Paul Hogan and Michael Perry, 6-0 at No.3 doubles and Drew Lahey and Bryan Triana got by Ross Gilbert and Adam Schmidt, 6-2 at No.2 doubles to clinch the point.
 
In singles action, Corey Smith topped Paul Hogan, 6-2,6-2 at No.3 singles. Fermin Calvo Barcelo continued his strong play in singles beating Maxilmilian Scholl, 6-2, 6-1. Bryan Triana clinched the win for the Owls defeating Stefano Puga, 6-4,1-6, 6-2 at No.4 singles.
 
The Owls return to action at home on Saturday, March 31 when they will take on FGCU at the Betty Siegel Courts beginning at 4 p.m. Admission is free.
