KENNESAW, Ga. –The Kennesaw State women's tennis team lost 5-2 to Lipscomb on Saturday afternoon in its ASUN Conference opener.
"I thought we competed well today," Assistant Head Coach
Miranda Foley said. "We have some work still to do in our doubles play. We will get back to work at practice this week to get ready for FGCU next Saturday."
The Bisons took early control of the match claiming the doubles point
In singles action, the Owls got a pair of wins.
Jessica Cantrell defeated Thabile Tshatedi, 6-4, 6-0.
Aspen Jarrett beat Kateryna Kandyba, 6-2, retired.
KSU (1-11) will return to action at home on Saturday, March 31 when they will take on FGCU at the Betty Siegel Courts beginning at 11 a.m. Admission is free.
