The women's tennis team is coming off a 6-1 loss to Ball State on Tuesday (Mar.6).Â
The Series
Saturday's match between Kennesaw State and Lipscomb marks the 12th meeting between the two programs. Lipscomb leads the series 6-5 winning the last three matches between the two programs.

About Lipscomb
The Bison are 6-9 on the season and are coming off a 4-0 loss at Tennessee on Sunday. Kateryna Popova who is 10-2 in singles action this season leads Lipscomb. Jamie Aid is in her fourth season as head coach at Lipscomb.
The Last Time Out

Laura Hopton carried the Kennesaw State women's tennis team in a 6-1 loss to Ball State on Tuesday evening. This match concluded the non-conference portion of the Owls schedule.
Hopton picked up a straight sets win over Lilya Hadab, 6-2, 6-1. The Owls (1-10) got a strong effort in doubles from Alex Mercado and
Jessica Cantrell who fell 7-6 (7-4) in a tiebreaker. Mercado battled back from a set down in singles to win the second set before falling in the third set.
Next Up
The Owls return to action at home on Saturday, March 31 when they will take on FGCU at the Betty Siegel Courts beginning at 12 p.m. Admission is free.
