Match Preview
The Kennesaw State men's tennis team is set for a pair of matches this weekend. The Owls will travel to Alabama State on Saturday (Mar.3) and host Austin Peay on Sunday (Mar.4). Â
KSU will host Youth Day on Sunday. The following things will be available for kids during Sunday's match.
- Balloon Artist: 12 p.m. - 1 p.m.
- Face Painting Artist: 2 p.m. - 3 p.m.

The Series
Friday's match between Kennesaw State and Alabama State will be the ninth match between the two programs. The Owls hold a 8-0 lead in the series. The Owls grabbed a 4-0 last season in Kennesaw.

The Owls and Governors will meet for just the fourth time on Sunday. KSU leads the series 2-1.

About Alabama State
The Hornets enter play with a 3-7 record. They are coming off a 4-1 win at Prairie View A&M on Saturday.

The Governors are 1-7 on the season. They are coming off a 5-2 loss to IUPUI on Feb.17.

The Last Time Out
 The Kennesaw State men's tennis team picked up their first win of the season on Saturday afternoon. The Owls defeated Wofford 4-3 on the Reeves Courts.
 The Owls took early control of the match winning the doubles point for the second match in a row.
Fermin Calvo Barcelo and
Lucas de Torres Curth beat John Crawford and Julian Chousa, 6-2 at No.1 doubles and
Manuel Castellanos and
Corey Smith topped Lucas Cerbelli and Jack Thomas, 6-2 at No.2 doubles.In singles action,
Fermin Calvo Barcelo won in three sets over Lucas Cerbelli, 6-1,4-6,6-0.
Corey Smith took home a straight-sets win over Edu Villar, 6-3, 6-4 at No.3 singles.Â
Lucas de Torres Curth picked up a win in the third set to knock Julian Chousa, 7-5, 4-6, 7-5 and seal the win for the Owls at No.2 singles.
Next Up
The Owls will travel to Jacksonville, Al. to take on Jacksonville, Al. on Wednesday, March 7. First serve is set for 12 p.m.
