KENNESAW, Ga.
– Julija Tarvide of the Kennesaw State women's track and field teams was named to the ASUN Indoor Academic All-Conference team the conference announced Wednesday.
"I am always particularly proud of our All-Academic student-athletes," Director of Track and Field and Cross Country
Andy Eggerth said. "They work incredibly hard in all areas of their lives to achieve excellence and they are models of what we should all strive for."
Tarvide owns a 3.62 GPA and is majoring in political science. The sophomore won the bronze medal in the high jump with a season-best clearance of 1.65m (5'5). She competed in the high jump five times during the indoor season and finished in the top 5 three times. This is Tarvide's first career appearance on the ASUN Indoor Academic All-Conference team.
