The Kennesaw State women's tennis team travels to Jacksonville, Ala. for a match with Jacksonville State on Tuesday.
 
The Owls will be looking to pick up their second win in their last three matches. 


The Series
Tuesday's match between Kennesaw State and Jacksonville State will be the eighth match between the two programs. Kennesaw State holds a 6-1 lead after winning 6-1 in Kennesaw last season.
 

About Jacksonville State 
The Gamecocks enter play with a 6-0 record. This past weekend, the Gamecocks picked up a trio of wins at the Alabama State classic beating Alabama A&M once and Alabama State twice.

The Last Time Out
The Kennesaw State women's tennis team made its 2018 home debut on Sunday and fell 6-1 to Southern Miss Sunday (Feb.18) at the Betty Siegel Courts.
Jessica Cantrell shined for the Owls (1-5) as she Jada Tijani won their doubles match, defeating Tanit Lopez Lopez and Lara Isis De Oliveir, 7-6.  The junior picked up the Owls' lone singles, posting a 6-2, 6-4 straight-set win over Tanit Lopez Lopez at No.4 singles.

Next Up
The Owls will head to Clinton, S.C. to take on Presbyterian on Friday Jan.23. First serve is set for 11 a.m.
