KENNESAW, Ga. -- Kennesaw State director of tennis
Matt Emery has announced the signing of Zoe Wende who will join the Owls in January of 2019 after signing a grant-in-aid.
"Zoe is going to immediately make an impact on our program," Emery said. "She is a strong athlete with obvious weapons we can build around. Prior to her injury a year ago, Zoe was ranked #1 in Argentina in her age group, which means she is not only a very skilled player, but she also understands how to win."
Wende comes to KSU from Buenos Aires, Argentina. She was ranked No.1 in her age group in 2017. She also reached the finals of the Argentinian National Championships in singles and doubles.
The women's team is off until the spring schedule opens January 16, 2019 at Kentucky.
