Game Day Storylines
• Kennesaw State (3-7) is coming off a 3-day break after falling to Georgia Tech on Dec. 16, 60-35. 
• These pair of contests wil be the second and third time that Kennesaw State has played inside GSU Sports Arena this season. The first came against Georgia State on Dec. 13.
• The Owls collected 20 offensive rebounds against Georgia Tech, which is a season-high. 
• Before Sunday at Georgia Tech, the Owls had not had double-digit steals since Nov. 14 against Furman (12).
• These will be the last games of the calender year for the Owls.
• Rookie guard Amani Johnson has made an impact early in her collegiate career as she opened the season with back-to-back ASUN Conference Freshman of the Week honors.
• Following her career performance of 20 points and 13 rebounds against Georgia Southern, Simina Avram earned the ASUN Newcomer of the Week honors.
• Head coach Agnus Berenato, who is in her 32nd season as a Division I head coach, is in her third year leading the Owls. She has an all-time record of 464-458 (.503), and guided Kennesaw State to the ASUN Conference semifinals in 2017. 
• Kennesaw State has produced the last two ASUN Conference Freshmen of the Year in Carlotta Gianolla (2017) and Kamiyah Street (2018). Both players were unanimous picks.
• KSU returns three players who earned ASUN Conference postseason honors following the 2017-18 season. Forward •Carlotta Gianolla garnered all-academic honors, while Kamiyah Street and Alexis Poole were named to the all-freshman team. Street also was a second team all-conference selection. 

Opponent Notes
• Bethune-Cookman is currently 6-3 on the season and is coming into Thursday's contest on a two-game winning streak over Flagler College and North Florida. 
• The Wildcats have three players scoring in double figures this season. Angel Golden leads the squad netting 20.0 points per contest while Kiana Williams scores 12.3 ppg and Chasimmie Brown nets 10.3 ppg.  

• NCCU comes into the contest 2-7 in 2018 and on a two-game winning streak against UNCG and Wofford.
• After dropping its first seven games of the season, NCCU has won the last two contests.
• The Eagles have  two players scoring in double figures. Rodneysha Martin pours in 24 ppg while Paulina Afriyie nets 14.0.

Series
• This will be the first meeting between KSU and Bethune-Cookman.
• This will just be the second meeting between KSU and NCCU. The first meeting was in 2004 and KSU won 68-60.

Georgia Tech Recap
• Prior to tipoff, Georgia Tech honored Berenato with a gift and recognition for her efforts battling breast cancer. Both teams donned unique warmup shirts that featured the breast cancer awareness ribbon on the front and a quote from Berenato on the back.
• Kate Head recorded a career-high two assists
• The Owls forced 20 Georgia Tech turnovers
• Kamiyah Street led all scorers with 20 points which was her third 20-plus points game of the season
• Kamiyah Street ended with five steals
• Street and Amani Johnson each logged 40 minutes
• The teams each had 40 rebounds
• The Owls shot 82 percent (9-for-11) from the free-throw line

Up Next
• The Owls have off until Jan. 5 when they travel to NJIT to begin ASUN play.
