In the men's 10k race, Chase Kennedy finished 58th in a time of 32:58.9.

Head Coach David Poteet on the Teams Performances Today
"Chase had a great race today. He came into the race ready and willing to challenge. No nervousness and no fear. Proud of the start to finish effort, and this will build confidence going into track season. Katie also showed good signs of being ready for track season with a steady, solid performance. You have to go into any race with the willingness to compete from start to finish. An apprehensive start leaves you out of where you could have finished. That is on me for not stressing it enough with all. We will also again stress the importance diet plays in racing. This was a good learning lesson and helped build some confidence for those who found a new mental level. Whoever you race, you give the best you have that day."
