KENNESAW, Ga. - The 2019 season will be another home-heavy campaign as the Owls will play 36 out of 56 games at Stillwell Stadium, head coach Mike Sansing announced today (Nov. 29).

The winningest coach in program history, and now entering his 28th year at the helm, Sansing leads Kennesaw State off a third-place finish in the ASUN last season (25-30, 11-10).

"We have put together a very competitive schedule that will challenge us early and that features programs from across the east coast. We are excited to host the Atlanta Classic to open the season," said Sansing. "We are bringing in quality opponents from the ASUN and are looking forward to playing a lot of teams from this state."

KSU opens the season on Friday, Feb. 15 kicking off the Atlanta Classic Tournament versus West Virginia at 4 p.m. The field at the Atlanta Classic features UIC, who the Owls will play on Saturday (Feb. 16) and Richmond who matchup against KSU on Sunday (Feb. 17).

Georgia and Georgia Tech highlight the 2019 slate with the Owls hosting the Bulldogs on Feb. 19 and the Yellow Jackets on March 5. Kennesaw State will head to Athens on Feb. 27 and Atlanta on March 6.

KSU opens ASUN competition with a three-game series against Lipscomb in Nashville, Tenn. on March 29-31. The Owls travel to Stetson, NJIT and North Florida in conference play while hosting North Alabama, FGCU, Liberty and Jacksonville.
