COLLEGE GROVE, Tenn. – Led by senior
Pablo Rodriguez-Tabernero Torres, the Kennesaw State men's golf team carded an even-par 288 on Tuesday and is in fifth place after two rounds of the Intercollegiate at The Grove hosted by Middle Tennessee at the Grove Golf Club in College Grove, Tenn.
After opening with a 5-under par 283 on Sunday, the Owls have a 36-hole total of 5-under par 571 and are seven strokes behind South Florida (564, -12), which leads the 13-team field and is three shots in front of Liberty. Purdue (568, -8) and Louisville (570, -6) are third and fourth, respectively.
"We put together a great fight today in tougher conditions and course setup," head coach
Bryant Odom said. "Everyone's score was in a position to count coming down to the last hole and posting even par was a nice way to back up yesterday's round. We look forward to making a run at the title tomorrow."
Torres posted his second straight under-par round, carding a 2-under par 70 to lead Kennesaw State and is tied for fifth, three shots behind Liberty's Alexandre Fuchs (136, -8). Senior
Jake Fendt (142, -2) is 16th, while junior
Connor Coffee (143, -1) is tied for 17th.

Wyatt Larkin and sophomore
Brady Keran (147, +3) are tied for 33rd, while
Justin Kim (159, +15), who is competing in his first collegiate event and playing as an individual is tied for 72nd.
The final round gets underway on Tuesday with Kennesaw State grouped with Ole Miss and will tee off at 11:34 (ET). All the action can be followed live at
