MACON, Ga. -- The Kennesaw State men's and women's tennis teams concluded play at the Mercer Gridiron Classic at the LeRoy Peddy Tennis Center on Sunday.

Gaston Muhammad fell in three sets in the finals of Flight C to Yuri Syromolotov of Mercer 6-2, 3-6, 6-2.

Jack Soerel / Jose Galvez came up short in the finals of the Flight B doubles by a score of 7-5 to Daiki Tanabe / Gonzalo Achondo of Coastal Carolina.

Brenna Reilly dropped a tough three set battle with Yana Morar of Charleston Southern in the finals of Flight B consolation 3-6, 7-6(2), 1-0(10).

The men will be back in action in the ITA Regionals Oct. 17-22 at Georgia, while the women will play in the Georgia Southern Invitational Oct.12-14.
