KENNESAW, Ga. – The Kennesaw State women's basketball team's non-conference finale at Savannah State scheduled for Wednesday (Jan. 3) at 7 p.m. (ET) has been cancelled due to a winter storm warning that is forecasting freezing rain and snow, and has forced the closure of Savannah State University.
Â
The cancellation of today's game marks the fourth consecutive contest cancelled within the last month as the Owls' lost three games at the Puerto Rico Classic due to the power outage at Atlanta International Airport on Dec. 17 and were unable to travel to San Juan. KSU was scheduled to play three games Dec. 18-20.
Â
Kennesaw State has not played since Dec. 15 when it posted a 60-58 overtime victory at Georgia Southern.
Â
The Owls are slated to return to action on Saturday (Jan. 6) when they host Lipscomb in both team's ASUN Conference opener at the KSU Convocation Center. Tip-off is 2 p.m. (ET). The contest will mark Girl Scout Day and Senior Saturday.
Â
