STORYLINE
After a slow start, Kennesaw State found its rhythm in the second quarter behind the play of Gianolla, who gave the Owls a spark, scoring four points and collecting five rebounds in the period as KSU cut an eight-point Stetson lead to 27-26 at halftime. Kennesaw State carried that momentum into the third quarter as it opened with a 7-0 run to take 33-27 lead two minutes into the period. The Owls shot 50 percent (7-for-14) from the field and were sparked by their defense which forced six turnovers that helped them take a 46-39 lead into the fourth quarter.
