Coach Poteet on the Teams Performances Today
"I saw some very positive signs with both the men's and women's teams, considering how early it is. We ran in packs, worked together and showed team times will drop as we progress in the season.
I also saw ways each runner could improve, which we will work on to drop times and places.
Our men's team is much improved and both teams will only get better as we get everyone healthy and racing."
Coach Poteet on the Stan Sims Invitational
"It will be interesting to see how we adjust to the 5 and 8k races we will have next week. It is our first home meet in years, and we are excited to run in front of a home crowd. "
