NEWARK, N.J. – Due to pending weather in the New Jersey area, Kennesaw State and NJIT begin it's three-game ASUN series with a doubleheader on Friday, May 12 at Riverfront Stadium. Friday's twinbill is schedule to begin at 3 p.m., with the second game to start approximately 30 minutes after.
The Owls (20-26, 8-7) enter the weekend fifth in conference standings, while the Highlanders (7-36, 0-15) sit in eighth place. The two teams meet for just the second time in programs' history, as KSU travels to NJIT for the first time after sweeping its series at Stillwell Stadium in 2016.
