Final Results
Jacksonville, Fla. – The Kennesaw State track and field posted many strong performances at the North Florida Invitational at Hodges Stadium on Saturday.
Women's Top Performances
- Jordan Gray set the school record in the long jump with a leap of 6.03m (19'9.5)to win the event. The Owls took of six of the top 10 positions in the event.
- Fallon Reed had her outdoor-best jump in the long jump with a leap of 5.66m (18'7) to finish tied for fourth.
- Freshman Nia Seldon had a career-best throw of 51.53m (169-01) in the hammer throw. That throw was fifth-farthest in program history.
- Alexis Starks had her career-best throw of 31.89m (104'7.0) in the javelin.
- Erica Sergeant won the pole vault and set the school record after clearing 3.82m (12'6.25).
- Megan Douglas grabbed fifth overall in the discus after landing a throw of 40.89m (134-2).
- Morgan Campbell landed a jump of 12.39m (40'7.75) to finish second in the triple jump.
- Shakedra Robinson had her season-best clearance of 1.70m (5'7) in the high jump which was good for third place.
- Â Laura-Maria Oja collected her personal-best time of 13.84 in the 100m hurdles to finish second overall. That time was good for second-best in program history.
- The 4x100m relay team of Laura-Maria Oja, Keaghan Peppers, Alex Andrews and Hannah Wood improved their conference-best time and collected a win in 45.48 seconds. Â
- Hannah Wood won the 100m-dash in a time of 11.59 seconds which was good for second-fastest in school history.
- Kidan Kidane won the 1500m with a time of 4:34.06 by nearly two seconds.
- Wood grabbed a second-place finish in the 200m in 23.93 seconds.

Men's Top Performances
- Fabeon Tucker finished third in the hammer throw with a toss of 50.90m (167'0).
- Daniel McKune had a career-best hammer throw of 49.30m (161'9) to finish fifth.
- Tucker won the javelin throw after landing a throw of 49.74m (163'2) in his first time doing it in a meet.
- Dayo Akindele had a collegiate-best jump of 7.67m (25'2.0) in the long jump to finish third. That jump was third-best in school history.
- Hunter Arnold tied for second overall and the top collegiate athlete in the pole vault after clearing 4.85m (15'11).
- Qwazon Al-Khaliq grabbed third place in the triple jump with a leap of 14.91m (48'11).
- Terrell Singleton was the top collegiate athlete in the 110m hurdles after running a time of 14.36 seconds.
- The 4x100 relay team of Terrell Singleton, Cameron Bolden, Chandler Nichols and Sean Blassingame improved their conference-leading time in the event with a time of 40.91 seconds.
- Braden Canamare ran a time of 48.30 seconds in the 400m to finish second amongst collegiate athletes in the event.
- Cameron Bolden posted a season-best time of 10.75 seconds in the 100m-dash.
- Terrell Singleton was the second-fastest collegiate athlete in the 400m hurdles with a time of 53.55 seconds.

The Owls will take next weekend off and return to the track Friday-Saturday April 21-22 at the Virginia Challenge in Charlottesville, Virginia.
