Final Results
Charlottesville, VA. – On the final day of the Virginia Challenge, the Kennesaw State men's and women's track and field team had several Owls finish the events on a strong note on the final day of competition at Lanningan Field Saturday, April 22.
The Owls'
Jordan Gray, a Ball Ground, Ga., native, made the biggest headlines for the Black and Gold, completing the heptathlon event with a point total of 5391, setting a Kennesaw State program record. The heptathlon event included events such as the 100-meter hurdles, high jump, shot put, 200 meters, long jump, javelin throw and 800 meters, breaking the mark of 5377 points Gray set at the Joe Walker Invitational.
The Black and Gold also received an impressive performance from
Hannah Wood, a Carrolton, Ga., native, in the 100 meter event, totaling a time of 11.56 seconds –tying KSU's school mark. Wood also ran a time of 23.83 seconds in the 200 meters, which set the fastest wind-aided time in program history.
On the men's side, the Owls received a big performance from Josh Mulder, an Alpharetta, Ga., native, in the decathlon event, totaling the second-highest point total in school history with 7320 for the event.

Women's Top Performances
- Jordan Gray set a Kennesaw State school record with 5391 points in the heptathlon event.

- Hannah Wood also ran a time of 23.83 in the 200m – setting the fastest wind-aided time in program history.
- Jocselyn Powell totaled a time of 58.74 seconds in the 400 meter, marking the third-fastest time in Kennesaw State history.
Men's Top Performances
- Joshua Mulder finished his day fourth in the decathlon event with 7320 points, setting the second-highest point total in Kennesaw State history.
