KENNESAW, Ga. --
Four players scored in double figures, leading Kennesaw State to a 62-60 victory over NJIT in the quarterfinals of the ASUN Women's Basketball Championship Friday night at the KSU Convocation Center.

The fourth-seeded Owls (10-19), who never trailed in the game, now advance to the ASUN semifinals and a date with top-seeded Stetson Wednesday at 7 p.m. in DeLand, Fla.

Kelly Dulkoski knocked down four three-pointers and finished with 12 points, matching Carlotta Gianolla's team-high 12. Allison Johnson scored 10 points and was equaled by Deja McPhee, who established a career high. Clara Young dished out a career-high 10 assists.

Kennesaw State survived a flurry in the game's final seconds as NJIT (11-19) had a look at a go-ahead three-pointer, but Tracey Brereton's attempt rattled out and the ball was whistled out-of-bound to NJIT with 3.7 seconds on the clock.

The officials went to the monitor to review the call, which was reversed to give KSU possession and bring the spirited crowd of nearly 1,000 to its feet. The Owls dribbled out the final seconds for their first ASUN postseason win since 2012.

Deandrea Sawyers, who finished with six points, knocked down a jumper with 2:09 left that proved to be the difference. Sawyers' basket paid off after a pair of crucial offensive rebounds from McPhee and Young on that series to give the hosts a 62-56 edge.

All four of Dulkoski's three-pointers came in the first half, including one that highlighted an 11-5 run, as the Owls opened their largest lead of game at 32-21 with 3:36 left. Dulkoski finished the first half with 12 points, helping the hosts take a 36-27 lead into the locker room.

Young, who was coming off a near quadruple-double in the Owls' final regular season game against Lipscomb last Saturday, surpassed her previous career-high of nine assists. With 10 her 10 assists against NJIT, she becomes just the fourth ASUN player to post double-digit assists in a game this season.

Sawyers continues to close in the Owls' Division-I career scoring record. She finished with six points, and will enter next Wednesday's game needing 15 points to break the scoring record of 1,374 held by Kristina Wells (2011-15).

Wednesday's game at Stetson marks the Owls' second appearance in the ASUN semifinals. In 2012, KSU beat North Florida, 51-49, in the quarterfinals before falling in the semifinals at FGCU, 76-53.

Tip-off at Stetson's Edmonds Center is set for 7 p.m. and the game airs live on ESPN3.
