OPENING TEE
The No. 44 Kennesaw State men's golf team continues its busy March schedule when it competes in the Southern Intercollegiate Championships hosted by Georgia at the Athens Country Club.
The one-day tournament format calls for 36 holes to be played at the par-72, 6,917-yard Athens Country Club with a shotgun start beginning Monday at 9 a.m. (ET).
The Field
The 16-team field includes No. 24 Arkansas, Chattanooga, Francis Marion, Furman, Gardner-Webb, No. 19 Georgia, Georgia "B" team, No. 44 Kennesaw State, Lipscomb, Ohio State, No. 13 Oklahoma, Savannah State, Stetson, USC Upstate, Western Carolina, Youngstown State, and a group of individuals from Florida State.

Last Time Out
Kennesaw State is coming off a fourth place showing at the Tiger Invitational that was hosted by No. 23 Auburn at the Grand National Lake Course in Opelika, Ala., March 5-6. The host Tigers captured the event with a 13-under par 851 to finish five shots ahead of Troy (856, -8). The Owls totaled a 3-over par 867 to finish 10 shots behind No. 27 Missouri (857, -7), which placed third. Senior
Christopher Guglielmo led KSU, finishing 10th at 4-under par 212. He carded scores of 65-75-72, and his opening-round 7-under par 65 is a career-best on a par-72 course, marking the best round for an Owl this season.

Connor Coffee has made an immediate impact for Kennesaw State as he has competed in six events and tops the Owls with a 72.0 stroke average and four top five finishes, including individual medalist honors at the Steelwood Intercollegiate last October.

Guglielmo Qualifies for U.S. Amateur Championship

Christopher Guglielmo qualified the 2016 U.S. Amateur Championship that was held at Oakland Hills Country Club in Bloomfield Township, Mich., in August. It marked the second straight year that Guglielmo qualified for world's most prestigious amateur championship.
Kennesaw State Men's Golf
The Kennesaw State men's golf program has established itself at the national level in recent years as it has made six consecutive NCAA Regional appearances and advanced to the NCAA Championships on two occasions. The Owls finished the 2015-16 season ranked No. 45 by Golfstat and No. 49 by
Golfweek.

Following the Southern Intercollegiate Championships, Kennesaw State will co-host with Mercer the Linger Longer Invitational scheduled for March 19-21 at Great Waters Golf Club at Lake Oconee in Greensboro, Ga.
