The Kennesaw State track & field teams received school-record performances from Hunter Arnold and Jocselyn Powell during an impressive showing at the Crimson Elite, hosted by Harvard University on Friday in Boston.

Arnold set a school record en route to a third-place finish in the pole vault, as the senior posted a mark of 4.95m. Powell's school-record time of 8.38 came in the prelims of the 60m hurdles, and the junior placed seventh overall after a time of 8.52 in the finals.

"We had a great meet today with a couple school records, and many of our student-athletes setting lifetime bests or coming very close," said Director of Track & Field Andy Eggerth. "It's good to see things moving in the right direction as we start closing in on the ASUN Championship. I'm looking forward to another great performance at the Scarlet and White Invitational tomorrow."
