Director of Track and Field and Cross Country Andy Eggerth's Thoughts on the Women Winning the ASUN Championship
"We have worked years toward this goal! I'm so proud of and pleased for our student-athletes. I'm particularly thankful to our core of highly devoted athletes who do whatever is in their power to achieve excellence. They push and push and push so I'm like a proud parent enjoying watching them compete and reap the rewards of their hard work!"
"I have to tip my hat to Coach (Ron) Grigg and his entire crew at Jacksonville. He's one of the premier coaches in the USA exemplified by the fact that they'd never lost an ASUN Championship in the last 11 years. His team always brings it and has pushed our staff and team to the level of excellence we've achieved."
"It's imperative to recognize our athletic department. Our administration has continually invested more into our program, without their support we wouldn't be able to accomplish all that we do; not just in winning championships, but in mentoring and developing young men and women. Our fellow coaches and student-athletes are always super supportive, and of course we couldn't function without all of the various support staffs in the department."
