KENNESAW, Ga. – A busy weekend of tennis at Kennesaw State is on tap with the men's and women's teams hosting a doubleheader versus Alabama State Saturday at the Betty Siegel Courts on campus. The women's match begins at 11 a.m., followed by the men at 2 p.m.

Sunday, the women are back at the Siegel Tennis Courts to battle UAB at 11 a.m. for Breakfast with the Owls. Free coffee and donuts will be served to fans, while supplies last. The women remain home Monday to welcome UNC-Asheville at 2 p.m.

Admission to all Kennesaw State tennis matches is free, and parking is available in the East Lot, and on the weekends, the East Deck.

The Owl women (0-2) have been off since January 27, but enter a stretch of four matches over the next six days. In addition to UAB Sunday and UNC Asheville Monday, Kennesaw State hosts Jacksonville next Thursday at 10 a.m.

Meanwhile, the men's team follows Saturday's match with Alabama State with another home contest versus Jacksonville State next Thursday at 2 p.m. The Owls downed Belmont, 4-3, on February 4, but each of KSU's last two setbacks have been narrow 4-3 decisions.

Senior men's player
Simon Pritchard is 4-1 in doubles action this spring, and as a team, the Owls have claimed the doubles point in four straight matches. Pritchard earned the ASUN Conference's Player of the Week on Feb. 6.

Alabama State brings a 3-3 women's record into Saturday's match, while the Hornets men's record stands at 1-5.
