The second round of qualifiers are Nov. 20-27.

"It is truly an honor and I am excited for the great opportunity to represent the Dominican Republic playing a sport that I love," Sosa said. "The atmosphere and passion over there is like no other, and it makes me appreciate the game so much more. I am looking forward to helping the team advance to the next round of qualifications for the World Cup France 2018."
