COLLEGE GROVE, Tenn. – Juniors Jake Fendt and Pablo Rodriguez-Tabernero Torres each carded even-par 72 scores to lead the Kennesaw State men's golf team Monday during day two of the FAMC Intercollegiate at The Grove in College Grove, Tenn.
 
The Owls recorded a 3-over par 291 and are in sixth place with a 36-hole total of 16-over par 592. Ole Miss leads the 12-team event with a 4-under par total of 572 and holds a one shot lead over Georgia Tech (573, -3). The Yellow Jackets tuned in the low round of the day, posting a 12-under par 276.
 
Fendt is the top individual for Kennesaw State with an even-par 144 total and is tied for ninth, five shots behind Ole Miss' Braden Thornberry, who leads the field at 5-under par 139. Thornberry holds a one shot advantage over Georgia Tech's Luke Schniederjans (141, -3), who shot a 5-under par 67 on Monday.
 
Torres (148, +4) is tied for 19th, while redshirt junior Wyatt Larkin (149, +5) is tied for 25th. Freshman Brady Keran (151, +7) and sophomore Connor Coffee (154, +10) are tied for 32nd and 45th, respectively.
 
The FAMC Intercollegiate at The Grove concludes with final-round action on Tuesday. The Owls will be paired with Liberty and tee off from the first hole beginning at 9 a.m. (ET).
