Coach Poteet on the Teams Performances Today
"I was very proud of our athletes today. The big races are where it's important not to fall apart but to excel. Both teams accomplished those goals especially the men. All five men ran their fastest 8k times yet. Logan ran a faster time than he won the conference with two years ago and was first team ASUN All-Conference. Ben and Chase both got into the 25's and were named to the ASUN All-Freshmen team. The men placing third was their best finish in years. The women had really good races. Caitlyn finished a great season being named second team All-Conference, and everyone else did the job it took to finish fourth. Some ran under personal adverse situations and came through. That's all you can ask for. The goal is to continue to improve each year, and that's where I need to step up more with recruiting and coaching. Overall, a very positive day."
