ITA SOUTHEAST REGIONAL TOURNAMENT CENTRAL

KENNESAW, Ga. – The Kennesaw State men's tennis team heads to Georgia Tech this weekend for the ITA Southeast Regional with seven Owls represented in the field.
 
Junior Fermin Calvo Barcelo will represent the Owls in the single draw, while three doubles pairs – Calvo Barcelo and Lucas de Torres Curth, Harrison Wood and Corey Smith, and Drew Lahey and Bryan Triana will compete in the tournament.
 
The Owls join 16 other teams from the across the southeast for the four-day event at the Yellow Jackets' Byers Tennis Complex. Action begins Friday at Georgia Tech, with Calvo Barcelo set to face Jakub Wojcik from USF in the first round. The winner of that singles match gets the winner of No. 2-seed Emil Reinberg (Georgia) and Oliver Stuart (Mercer).
 
Each of the Owls' doubles pairs has a first-round bye.
