Director of Track and Field Andy Eggerth
On the women's team
"Our women won handily this weekend. Sometimes we schedule easier competitions to enjoy some success and build confidence. It's important though that we don't develop a false confidence. Competing at Harvard and BU in 2 weeks should demonstrate to us that 'good' is very relative, and being good is never good enough."
On the Men's Team
"We had some really great performances from many of our guys this weekend, but as a whole we have work to do. In a meet that we would have easily won in recent years, we finished second. This class of freshmen think that simply donning the Owls uniform will grant them a championship, but unless they start taking care of life off the track we'll have a rude awakening at the A-Sun championship in just 5 short weeks."
Next Up
The team will travel to Massachusetts to compete in the Harvard Crimson Elite Meet on Friday, Feb.3 and the BU Scarlet and White on Saturday, Feb.4.
