Previewing the Miners in 2016
Missouri S&T and Kennesaw State meet for the first time at Fifth Third Bank Stadium on Saturday, October 8. The game kicks off at 1 p.m. and can be seen live on Peachtree TV in Atlanta. Returning for the Miners is RB Dalton Major, who rushed for 502 yards and four touchdowns, along with big-play WR Spencer Elrod, who racked up 749 yards and seven touchdowns. All 11 offensive starters are back for the Miners, who went 5-5 last season and 5-3 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. Missouri S&T is a Division-II school located in Rolla, Missouri.Â
Braxton Graham averaged 18.5 yards per kick return last season, earning first-team All-GLVC laurels.
