THE STORYLINE:Â
· Jacksonville erased a three-run deficit and scored four unanswered to take a come-from-behind 7-6 victory to even the Atlantic Sun series at John Sessions Stadium Saturday afternoon.
· Tied at 6-6, the Dolphins broke the deadlock score with a walk-off single in the home half of the ninth to earn the victory.
· With the loss, the Owls fall to 21-24 overall and 11-3 in A-Sun action, while Jacksonville improved to 28-16 overall and 10-4 in conference play.  Â

HOW IT HAPPENED:Â
· In an offensive slugfest, the two teams combined for 13 runs on 23 hits as only three full frames went scoreless in the ballgame.
· The Owls cancelled a pair of crooked three-run frames from the Dolphins offense by plating at least one run in five of their first six at-bats.
· RBI singles of the bats of
David Chabut (second frame),
Jeremy Howell (third inning), and
Chris Erwin (fourth) deadlocked the ballgame at 3-3 after four innings of action.
· Kennesaw State then continued its momentum in the fifth when sophomore
Grant Williams knocked his second double of the day to bring home a pair of Owls to take a 5-3 advantage and senior catcher
Brennan Morgan brought home the Owls' sixth run with a one-out RBI double in the sixth.
· However, the contest came down to the final three frames after Jacksonville fought back to tie the tilt at 6-6 with its second three-run inning in the bottom half of the sixth.
· However, the Dolphins scored the last run of the ballgame with a walk-off single in the bottom of the ninth to even the series.
· KSU used five pitchers on the day, as righty
Gabe Friese got the start. He tossed 5.1 innings, allowing six runs on seven hits.

Brock Turner worked scoreless outings out of the bullpen for Kennesaw State.
