THE STORYLINE:Â
· Kennesaw State's three seniors helped pace a 15-hit attack over the visiting Stetson Hatters, evening the series at a game apiece, taking a 9-2 final at Stillwell Stadium Saturday afternoon.
· KSU honored its three seniors on senior day, celebrating

Justin Motley and
Brennan Morgan's careers as part of the final homestand of the 2016 season. Â Â
· With the win, the Owls clawed back to the .500 mark at 25-25 overall and sit at 13-4 in ASUN action, while Stetson dropped to 25-25 overall and 9-8 in league play.

HOW IT HAPPENED:Â
· After Stetson jumped on the scoreboard first with a run in the second, the Owls responded in a big way by plating a crooked five runs in home half of the third.
· Junior
Corey Greeson jumpstarted the outburst with a two-run RBI single, before senior
Brennan Morgan knocked a three-run homer over the center field wall to give the Owls a 5-1 advantage and never trailed for the remainder of the game.
· The frame was the first of three consecutive innings in which Kennesaw State scored, plating two more in the fourth and one in the fifth to help take a commanding 8-2 lead.
· Sophomore
Griffin Helms' third home run of the season in the eighth extended KSU's lead to 9-2, their largest lead of the day.
· Offensively, the Owls had six players record at least two hits in the ballgame – Morgan (3-for-5),

Grant Williams (2-for-3),
Justin Motley (2-for-4) and
Griffin Helms (2-for-4) all combined for 13 of the 15 hits on the day.

Gabe Friese (6-1), who earned the win, set the tone defensively by recording six punch outs in 5.0 innings of work, out-dueling Stetson's LHP Adam Schaly.
· Tony Dibrell picked things up out of the bullpen, working 4.0 scoreless innings to earn his first collegiate save.

Brennan Morgan hit his sixth home run of the season on senior day, which ranks second on the team.
· For the 29
th time in 50 games, the Owls totaled at least 10 hits in a ballgame.
