THE STORYLINE:Â
· North Florida defeated Kennesaw State Sunday afternoon, 9-2, in the series finale in front of 383 fans at Stillwell Stadium.
· The Ospreys avoided a series sweep, scoring nine runs on 11 hits – including a five-run fifth frame to propel them past the Owls.
· With the loss, the Owls dropped to 11-18 overall and 2-1 in conference play, and UNF improved to 17-12 and 1-2 in A-Sun action.

HOW IT HAPPENED:Â
· UNF's Austin Drury (2-0) out-dueled Kennesaw State's
AJ Moore (1-3) on the mound, pitching 6.1 innings and allowed just four Owl hits and one earned run.
· Moore, who was charged with the hard-fought loss, worked 4.1 innings and allowed five runs on seven hits and struck out two UNF batters.
· The Ospreys scored six runs, including a five-run fifth, in the middle innings on six hits and never trailed in the ballgame.
