The Kennesaw State women's tennis team will be back in action on Saturday (Mar. 5) when it visits Eastern Kentucky in Richmond, Ky. First serve is scheduled for 10 a.m. (ET).
 
The Owls enter the contest with a 1-8 record following a 6-1 setback to Mercer Wednesday (Mar. 2) at the Fair Oaks Park in Marietta.

The Last Time Out
Senior Asheigh De Wet highlighted Kennesaw State' match against Mercer on Wednesday. Playing at No. 5 singles, she defeated Haley Powell, 7-6 (2), 5-7, 10-5 as the Owls fell to the Bears.
 
A Look at the Leaders
Sophomore Alexandra Mercado leads the Owls with three dual singles match victories, while senior Gabriela Bueno and sophomores Laura Hopton and Cristina Martin have two wins apiece.
 
Scouting Eastern Kentucky
The Colonels enter Saturday's contest with a 4-5 record, and have lost two in a row after suffering setbacks to No. 20 Kentucky and Chattanooga.
 
Next Up
Following Saturday's match, Kennesaw State will return home to the Betty L. Siegel Student Recreation and Activities Center on Sunday, Mar. 13 to host Southern Mississippi at noon.
