Weekend Preview
The Kennesaw State women's tennis team continues its Atlantic Sun Conference schedule this week when it travels to Florida for a pair of matches. The Owls will face Stetson Thursday (Mar. 31) in DeLand at 4 p.m. (ET) and conclude the road trip on Saturday (April 2) with a 10 a.m. match at North Florida in Jacksonville.
 
The Owls are 1-13 on the season after falling 7-0 to Florida Gulf Coast on Saturday (Mar. 26).
 
The Series vs. Stetson
Kennesaw State and Florida Gulf Coast will be meeting for the 11th time on Thursday and the Hatters lead the all-time series, 10-0. The series includes two meetings in the A-Sun Conference Tournament.
 
The Series vs. North Florida
Kennesaw State and North Florida will be meeting for the ninth time on Saturday and the Ospreys lead the all-time series, 8-0. North Florida recorded a 4-0 victory in Jacksonville in 2015.
 
The Last Time Out
Kennesaw State opened Atlantic Sun Conference play on Saturday Mar. 26) and fell 7-0 to Florida Gulf Coast in a match that was interrupted by rain and played at two different venues. The Owls (1-13, 0-1) and Eagles (8-7, 2-0) were able to get their doubles matches in before rain suspended play at the Betty L. Siegel Student Recreation & Activities Center on the KSU campus. The two teams resumed play nearly five hours later and Florida Gulf Coast captured all six singles matches at the Lifetime Fitness Center in Norcross.
 
A Look at the Leaders
Sophomore Alexandra Mercado and Senior Isabela Castro lead Kennesaw State with four dual match victories apiece.
 
Scouting Stetson
The Hatters are 6-8 overall and 2-0 in A-Sun Conference. Stetson has posted consecutive road 6-1 conference wins over USC Upstate and NJIT last week.
 
Scouting North Florida
The Ospreys begin the week with a 7-5 overall record and a 2-0 conference mark. North Florida is coming off back-to-back wins over NJIT (6-1) and USC Upstate (7-0). The Ospreys will host Lipscomb on Thursday prior to hosting Kennesaw State.
 
Next Up
Kennesaw State will return to Kennesaw State on, Thursday, April 7 to host NJIT at the Betty L. Siegel Student Recreation & Activities Center beginning at 10 a.m.
