The Last Time OutThe Kennesaw State men's tennis team dropped a hard-fought Atlantic Sun Conference showdown against FGCU at the Betty Student Center on the campus of KSU, as the Eagles took a 4-3 final.
The Owls (8-5) played a back-and-forth match with the Eagles under the lights, which the dual match began at 7 p.m. due to weather delays.
Simon Pritchard (2-6, 6-3, 6-4) and
Lucas de Torres Curth (6-2, 6-2) both took their single matches under the lights, before FGCU broke a 3-3 deadlock battle with the final singles victory on the night.
KSU jumpstarted the match with a key doubles point, as duo tandems
David Durham and
Drew Wendel (6-2) and
Manuel Castellanos and Pritchard (6-4) helped Kennesaw State out to an early edge.
