KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State opened Atlantic Sun Conference play on Saturday and fell 7-0 to Florida Gulf Coast in a match that was interrupted by rain and played at two different venues.

The Owls (1-13, 0-1) and Eagles (8-7, 2-0) were able to get their doubles matches in before rain suspended play at the Betty L. Siegel Student Recreation & Activities Center on the KSU campus.

The two teams resumed play nearly five hours later and Florida Gulf Coast captured all six singles matches at the Lifetime Fitness Center in Norcross.

Kennesaw State will return to action on Thursday (Mar. 31) when it continues A-Sun Conference play against Stetson in DeLand, Fla. beginning at 4 p.m. (ET).
