The Last Time OutKennesaw State dropped a 4-0 decision to Southern Mississippi on Mar. 13 at the Siegel Student Center Courts. USM (11-2) won two doubles matches and came out on top in three singles contests to clinch the victory. The Owls' No. 1 doubles pairing of 
Ashleigh De Wet and 
Laura Hopton lost a 6-2 decision that clinched the doubles point for the visitors. De Wet had USM's No. 1 singles player, Carolin Drescher, on the ropes in the first set before falling 6-3. Drescher took the second set 6-1.
 
A Look at the LeadersIsabela Castro and sophomore 
Alexandra Mercado lead Kennesaw State with three dual match victories apiece. All three of Castro's victories have come at No. 4 singles, while Mercado has two wins at No. 4 and one at No. 2 singles.
 
Scouting Louisiana TechThe Bulldogs enter the weekend 10-3 following a 6-1 loss to No. 41 South Alabama on Mar. 8. Prior to facing the Owls on Sunday, Louisiana Tech will visit No. 45 Georgia State on Saturday (Mar. 19).
