Tucson, Ariz. – Paced by junior Laura Estefenn, the Kennesaw State women's golf team sits in 15th-place against a strong field at the Mountain View Collegiate. The tournament begin Friday with 36 holes at the Mountain View Golf Club in Tucson, Arizona.

 After struggling early in the spring, Estefenn shot rounds of 72 and 76 on Friday  which puts her in 27th-place overall with a score of 148 (+4).  Dulcie Sverdloff is in 33rd after posting rounds of 70 and 79 (149,+5)
 
Clara Aveling (154), Medy Thavong (158) and Charlotte Charrayre (160 closed out the scoring on day one for the Owls.
 
Kennesaw State returns to action March19 for the final round at the Mountain View Collegiate in Tucson, Ariz.
