KENNESAW, Ga. – The Kennesaw State women's tennis team dropped a 4-0 decision to Southern Mississippi on Sunday afternoon at the Siegel Student Center Courts on the KSU campus.

USM (11-2) won two doubles matches and came out on top in three singles contests to clinch Sunday's victory.

The Owls' No. 1 doubles pairing of
Ashleigh De Wet and
Laura Hopton dropped a 6-2 decision that clinched the doubles point for the visitors. De Wet had USM's No. 1 singles player Carolin Drescher on the ropes in the first set before falling 6-3. Drescher took the second set 6-1.

The Owls (1-11) are next in action on Sunday, March 20 they host Louisiana Tech at 10 a.m.
