BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Kennesaw State women's tennis team concluded its two-match trip to Birmingham, with a 7-0 setback at UAB on Sunday (Feb. 7).

UAB (2-3) won all three doubles matches and came out on top in each of the six singles contests.

Freshman
Laura Dean extended Elaine Simon to a third set at No. 2 singles. After falling 7-5 in the first set, Dean won the second set, 6-4, before dropping the third set, 10-2.

The Owls (0-4) are next in action on Friday (Feb. 12) when it travels to Montgomery, Ala. to take on Alabama State beginning at 3 p.m. (ET)
