Weekend Preview
The Kennesaw State men's tennis squad will ride its four match winning streak into the campus of Kennesaw State, hosting Wofford in a key non-conference dual matchup. It will be the first time hosting a dual match since the 2012 season.

The Series
Kennesaw State will take on Wofford Sunday afternoon, marking the first meeting between the two teams.

The Last Time Out
For the fourth match in a row, the Kennesaw State men's tennis team came out victorious in a dual match showdown. The Owls (4-1) defeated non-conference foe Presbyterian (1-9), 6-1, at the Templeton Tennis Courts on Saturday (Feb. 20) afternoon.

For the fourth consecutive match, the Owls got all-important doubles point to jumpstart the dual match and take a 1-0 lead. Doubles tandem of Simon Pritchard and Manuel Castellanos (6-2) and David Durham and Drew Wendel (6-4) anchored the matches to give KSU the first point on the day.

The momentum carried as Kennesaw State won its first five matches to secure the win over the Blue Hose. The Owls got big performances from Pritchard (6-3, 6-3), Castellanos (6-4, 6-1), Durham (2-6, 6-3, 10-4), Alejandro Valencia (1-6, 6-2, 6-4), and Lucas de Torres Curth (6-2, 6-2).

Castellanos clinched the day with his victory over the Blue hose and both Durham and Valencia both came back to win their matches after dropping the first set in hard-fought matches to help the Owls improve to 4-1.

Coach Rincon Quote
"It will be the first time we host an event for this group of guys and me personally. It's exciting. They guys are looking forward to playing in front of their friends and peers as they realize this is a great thing to host an event. I know the guys are really looking forward to it. Wofford has a bunch of good competitors and are very well coached. We want to make this into a rivalry and we want to play well against them.
 - Kennesaw State Director of Tennis Eduardo Rincon
