Race Preview
The Kennesaw State Cross Country teams will wrap up the regular season at the Crimson Classic hosted by the University of Alabama at the Harry Pritchett Running Course on Friday, October 14.

This will be the Owls seventh appearance in the Crimson Classic in program history. The men's teams best finish at the event is fifth in 2205, while the women's is a fourth place finish in 2006.

The women's 6k race will begin at 10 a.m. (ET) followed by the men's 8k race at 10:45 (ET).

Owls Post Strong Performances at Upstate Invitational
The Kennesaw State women's and men's cross country teams posted strong performances at the Upstate Invitational on the Milliken Research Park at South Carolina Upstate on Saturday, October 1. The women's team finished third overall, while men grabbed a sixth place finish

Kidan Kidane collected her first collegiate cross country win in the 5k with a time of 17:39.63 in the 8-team, 62-individual field earning ASUN Conference Runner of the Week honors for her performance.

- Her time of 17:39.63 was the second fastest of her cross country career. The senior has been the Owls top finisher in her last 11 meets.Â

Paul Schupp led the Owls on the men's side with a 19th place finish in 26:46.99.
- Six members of women's team and four members of the men's team posted season-best performances at the Upstate Invitational. Â
Next Up
The Owls will head back to Spartanburg, South Carolina for the ASUN Conference Championships at the Milliken Research Park at South Carolina Upstate on Saturday, October 29 at 8:30 a.m.
