ATLANTA, Ga. – The Kennesaw State women's tennis team returned to action Sunday afternoon and fell 6-1 to No. 24-ranked Georgia Tech (3-2) at the Byers Tennis Complex in Atlanta.

Gabriela Bueno was credited with the lone Owls' win, defeating Natasha Prokhnevska by default at No. 6 singles.

Alexandra Mercado captured three games from No. 92 Rasheeda McAdoo at No. 2 singles in a 6-1, 6-2 setback.

Kennesaw State (0-2) returns to action on Saturday, Feb. 6, when it visits Samford in Birmingham, Ala.
