FINAL RESULTS (PDF) | FINAL RESULTS (HTML) FORT COLLINS, Colo. – The Kennesaw State women's golf team wrapped up its season-opening tournament by jumping up one spot to finish in 13th at the Ptarmigan Ram Classic on Tuesday (Sept. 15) at the par-72, 6,295-yard Ptarmigan Country Club in Fort Collins, Colo.
The Owls posted a 15-over par final round score of 303 en route to a 51-over par tournament total of 915 in their first competition of the 2015-16 campaign. Junior
Laura Estefenn led KSU with an 11-over par total of 227 after carding a three-over par score of 75 in her final round and finished in a tie for 35th.

Charlotte Charrayre tied for 50th with a 15-over par total of 231 after both players registered seven-over par 79s in their final rounds. Freshman
Clara Aveling fired a three-over par 75 in her final round and wrapped her first tournament as an Owl in 64th with a 19-over par total of 234.

Medy Thavong highlighted the Owls on Tuesday, turning in the low KSU score of the day with a two-over par 74 and finished her first collegiate tournament in 71st with a 19-over par score of 235.
BYU claimed the team title with a 12-over par tournament total of 876, besting San Jose State by four strokes as the Spartans turned in a 16-over par total of 880. Cal (888), San Francisco (891) and Boise State (892) rounded out the top five.
Texas Tech's Sarah Brown took home individual medalist honors after posting a four-under par total of 212 and was the only player to register a subpar score. SJSU's Elizabeth Schultz and Hannah Sodersten of Fresno State finished in a tie for second with an even-par score of 216.
The Owls will next head to Greenville, S.C., for the Lady Paladin Invitational, hosted by Furman on Sept. 20-22.
