ROUND TWO RESULTS ( PDF) | ROUND THREE LIVE SCORING | ROUND THREE PAIRINGS | HIGHLIGHTS | POST-ROUND INTERVIEW SAN ANTONIO, Texas – Senior
Ines Lescudier and sophomore
Dulcie Sverdloff each fired a two-over par 74 en route to leading the Kennesaw State women's golf team in its second round of the NCAA San Antonio Regional on a rainy Friday (May 8) at the par-72, 6,350-yard Briggs Ranch Golf Club.
"Obviously it was not our best day," said head coach
Rhyll Brinsmead. "We had some individual play that was solid from Ines and Dulcie, but with only five birdies on the day you cannot expect much more. We just did not have the depth today that we needed to get the round going, so obviously we are disappointed. The kids know they should have played better today and it was scoreable out there as the leaderboard shows. We still had a good time. We are making the most of the opportunity and we still have another round, so we will focus on that."
The Owls own a 23-over par 36-hole total of 599 and is in 14th place after turning in a 13-over par 301 in the second round, which saw a two-hour and 41-minute delay due to lightning with KSU only needing to finish its last three holes.
Lescudier registered 16 pars on the day and sits in a tie for 48th with a two-over par total of 146, while Sverdloff is tied for 61st with a five-over par score of 149.
Sophomore
Laura Estefenn carded a five-over par 77 in her second round and is in a tie for 75th with an eight-over par two-day total of 152. Senior

Henriette Nielsen shaved seven strokes off her score with a four-over par 76 in her second round and is in a tie for 88th heading into Saturday's final round.
No. 14 Tennessee fired a seven-under par 281 in its second round and holds the 36-hole lead with a 19-over par score of 557, with No. 21 jumping up to second place and is four strokes off the lead following a 281 on Friday and owns a 15-under par total of 561.
