WT: Owls Fall 6-1 to FGCU

KSU Opens A-Sun Play with a Loss to the Eagles

KENNESAW, Ga. – The Kennesaw State women's tennis team fell 6-1 to FGCU in its conference opener on Friday (Mar. 20) at Fair Oaks Tennis Center.
 
The Owls struggled in doubles action, allowing the Eagles to clinch the doubles point, and their struggles continued throughout singles play.
 
Senior Virginie Stein defeated Sarah Means 6-4, 2-6, 10-8 at No. 1 singles to collect the lone win for the Owls.
 
KSU moves to 1-8 on the season and will return to action on Saturday (Mar. 21) to take on Stetson in a 10 a.m. ET match at Fair Oaks Tennis Center in Marietta, Ga.
