WT: Owls Come Up Short in a 6-1 Battle Against Armstrong Atlantic

Kennesaw State Fall in First Match of the Weekend

KENNSAW, Ga. – The Kennesaw State women's tennis team fell 6-1 in a battle against Armstrong Atlantic on Friday (Feb. 13) in Savannah, Ga.
 
Senior Virginie Stein posted the only point for the Owls, beating Lena Lutzeier 6-0, 2-6, 10-6 in a tiebreaker match at No. 1 in singles competition.
 
Armstrong Atlantic clinched the doubles point and posted singles victories at No. 2 through No. 6.
 
Kennesaw State will move to 0-4 on the season. The Owls will return to action on Saturday (Feb. 14) to take on Georgia Southern at 12 p.m. ET in Statesboro, Ga.
