SCOUTING MERCER…
 - The Owls will put their two-game home winning streak on the line against Mercer on Saturday.
- Mercer and KSU have battled 22 times since 2005-06, with the Bears owning a 12-10 edge over the Owls.
- Mercer is located in Macon, Ga.
- The Bears welcome back five returners from the 2014-15 campaign, and one starter (Kahlia Lawrence – 13.4 ppg, 5.5 rpg, 2.0 apg)
- Mercer has eight newcomers to fill out the roster.
- The Bears finished 20-15 in the 2014-15 season, including a 9-5 mark in SoCON play.
- Mercer finished 10-6 at home and a respectable 9-8 away from its home floor.
- Coach Susie Gardner is in her 6th season with a 69-94 overall record at MU. She holds a 245-241 overall record in 16 –plus seasons.
- Mercer's first year of competition was in 1970-71.
- Mercer's overall all-time record is 580-624.

A LOOK AT THE BEARS…
 - Mercer is off to a respectable 4-3 start to the 2015-16 season. The Bears won three straight before dropping three of its last four games.
-  Mercer has wins over Coastal Carolina, Tennessee Tech, Georgia Southern, and Howard Atlanta.
-  The Bears, who takes on Kennesaw State Saturday, also played Georgia on Wednesday, dropping a 57-44 decision at the Stegeman Coliseum.
- Returning starter Kahlia Lawrence is leading the team with a 15.6 points per game in 30.7 minutes of action on the court.
-  Lawrence is also leading the Bears with 5.7 boards per contest, while leading the team in minutes played.
 - Sydnie Means (26.0), Amanda Thompson (26.3), Linnea Rosendal (22.6) and Rachel Selph (25.9) is averaging over 20 minutes of actin along with Lawrence.
