Braselton, Ga. – The Kennesaw State women's golf team wrapped up action at the Fall Invitational on Tuesday (Oct. 6) finishing sixth after competing at the par-72, 5,965-yard Château Élan Golf Club Woodlands Course in Braselton, Ga.
 
The Owls shot a season-low score of 287 which was good enough to move them to sixth place with a three-round total off 11-over par 895.
 
Feshman Clara Aveling shot a final-round 72 to finish at 1-under par 215 and tie for eighth place.  
 
Dulcie Sverdloff had the best round of the day for the Owls,carding a three-under 69 to finish the tournament even-par with a total score of 216. Junior Luara Estefenn fired a three-over par 75 to finish the tournament with a five-over par 221 total and tied for 27th.
 
Freshmen Charlotte Charrayre closed with a final round 71 giving her a 224 (+8) total and a tie for 35th. Fellow freshman Medy Thavong finished with a final round 78 and total of 231 (+16) which tied her for 53rd. Henriette Nielsen, who played as an individual, shot 81 and finished 65th with a 242 (+26) score.
 
Chattanooga won the 13-team event with a 54-hole total of 852 (-12) after shooting even-par 288. The Mocs' Emily McLennan captured individual medalist honors after closing with a 68 to finish with a 205 (-11) total.
 
 The Owls will return to action Oct.25-27 at the Palmetto Intercollegiate hosted by the College of Charleston at Turtle Point in Kiawah Island, South Carolina.
