Tee TimesDAUFUESKIE ISLAND, S.C. – Kennesaw State sophomore
Chris Guglielmo highlighted second-round play at the Rees Jones Invitational on Monday as he shot a career-low 4-under par 68 at the par-72, 7,380-yard Haig Point Golf Club in Daufuskie, Island, S.C.
Guglielmo, who is competing in the tournament as an individual, recorded six birdies on his round to tie for the low round of the day, and is tied with teammate
Teremoana Beaucousin for fifth place at even-par 144.
The Owls carded a 5-over par 293 and are in second place with a 2-over par 578 total, two shots behind East Carolina, which leads the 11-team field with an even-par total of 572.
Kennesaw State currently has six players in the top 10, including senior
Jimmy Beck, who is in fourth place with a 1-under par 143. East Carolina's Al Dickens holds the individual lead with an 8-under par 136, three shots ahead of Winthrop's Zach Seabolt (139).
Junior
Carlos Segura Oliva is among a group of three players tied for seventh at 1-over par 145, while senior
Austin Vick and freshman
Fredrik Nilehn, who is competing as an individual, are tied for 10th at 2-over par 146.
Freshman
Wyatt Larkin, shot a 6-over 78, improving two shots on his opening round, and is tied for 46th with a 14-over par 158.
The Rees Jones Invitational concludes with final-round play on Tuesday beginning at 8:30 a.m. (ET). Kennesaw State is paired with East Carolina and Winthrop, and will tee off at 9:20 a.m. (ET). All the action can be followed live on the Internet at
